CBSE Board Exam will be held from May 4 to June 10 for class 10 and class 12 students under the Central Board of Secondary Education. Information was sourced from Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announcement on Thursday i,e. 31 December 2020. Final results of CBSE Board Exams will be released by July 15.

The CBSE examination has been delayed due to the hurdles caused by the pandemic to the session 2020-21. Board (CBSE) Exam usually begins in the month of March. As you already know that the schools shut in mid of March 2020, and most of the students are yet to return to full time classes.

Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank further added that school will be given flexibility to conduct practical examination as well as projects and internal assessment at any time starting from March 1 until the last date of conduct of the theory examinations for the same class.

He acknowledged the challenges faced by students this year due to COVID-19. Moreover, he added that the efforts had been made to continue studies through digital and other medium without any intervention. CBSE has already reduced its board syllabus by 30%.

Mr.Nishank promised that the CBSE board exam centres will be increased and all necessary steps will be taken to ensure the safety of the students and proper conduct of the examinations.

“All necessary steps will be taken to sure that students do not get affected due to the difference in the basic facilities of their studies,” he said.

CBSE exams 2021 online or offline?

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has informed that the 10th 12th Board examinations will not be held through any online medium and the examination will be held in accordance with the Covid-19 protocols. Students will have to give the exams in written form as before.

Effects of COVID-19 on school education

Many state board and central board exams for 2019-2020 were partially completed due to the lockdown of pandemic. Schools across the country shut down in March due to COVID-19 pandemic.

After multiple court cases and obstacles, the remaining papers were cancelled and grades calculated through a formula approved by the board.

Although the centre gave permission for schools to re-open from mid-October while following the steps used by the government. Few states have taken decisions to allow students to return to offline classes.

During the session 2020-2021 students have been compelled to rely completely on digital medium, ranging from Google Meet, Zoom classes, WhatsApp notes, online lectures and self-study. To ease the burden on the students of CBSE board classes, the syllabus was reduced by 30%.

उन्होंने COVID-19 के कारण इस वर्ष छात्रों के सामने आने वाली चुनौतियों को स्वीकार किया। इसके अलावा, उन्होंने कहा कि बिना किसी हस्तक्षेप के डिजिटल और अन्य माध्यमों से पढ़ाई जारी रखने के प्रयास किए गए थे। सीबीएसई ने पहले ही अपने बोर्ड के सिलेबस में 30% की कमी कर दी है।

श्री निशंक ने वादा किया कि सीबीएसई बोर्ड परीक्षा केंद्रों में वृद्धि की जाएगी और छात्रों की सुरक्षा और परीक्षाओं के उचित संचालन के लिए सभी आवश्यक कदम उठाए जाएंगे।

उन्होंने कहा, "यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सभी आवश्यक कदम उठाए जाएंगे कि छात्र अपनी पढ़ाई की बुनियादी सुविधाओं के अंतर के कारण प्रभावित न हों।"

सीबीएसई परीक्षा 2021 ऑनलाइन या ऑफलाइन?

केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (CBSE) ने कहा है कि 10 वीं 12 वीं बोर्ड की परीक्षाएं ऑनलाइन नहीं होंगी और परीक्षा कोविद -19 प्रोटोकॉल के पालन में आयोजित की जाएगी। छात्रों को पहले की तरह पेन और पेपर के साथ परीक्षा देनी होगी।

स्कूल शिक्षा पर COVID -19 का प्रभाव

2019-2020 के लिए कई राज्य बोर्ड और केंद्रीय बोर्ड परीक्षा लॉकडाउन के कारण आंशिक रूप से पूरी हो गई थी। COVID-19 महामारी के कारण मार्च में देश भर के स्कूल बंद हो गए।

कई अदालती मामलों और बाधाओं के बाद, शेष पेपरों को रद्द कर दिया गया था और बोर्ड द्वारा अनुमोदित एक सूत्र के माध्यम से ग्रेड की गणना की गई थी।

हालांकि केंद्र ने सरकार द्वारा उपयोग किए गए चरणों का पालन करते हुए स्कूलों को मध्य अक्टूबर से फिर से खोलने की अनुमति दी थी। कुछ राज्यों ने निर्णय लिया है कि छात्रों को ऑफ़लाइन कक्षाओं में वापस जाने की अनुमति दी जाए।

सत्र 2020-2021 के दौरान छात्रों को पूरी तरह से डिजिटल माध्यमों पर भरोसा करने के लिए बाध्य किया गया है, जिसमें गूगल मीट, जूम क्लासेस, व्हाट्सएप नोट्स, ऑनलाइन व्याख्यान और स्व-अध्ययन शामिल हैं। सीबीएसई बोर्ड कक्षाओं के छात्रों पर बोझ को कम करने के लिए पाठ्यक्रम में 30% की कमी की गई थी।
