Developmental Goals of Different Categories of Persons:

1. Landless rural labourers:

   • More days of work and better wages.
   • Local school provides quality education for their children.
   • No social discrimination and they can also become leaders in the village.
   • (Hindi: अधिक काम के दिन और बेहतर मजदूरी; स्थानीय स्कूल उनके बच्चों के लिए गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा प्रदान करता है; कोई सामाजिक भेदभाव नहीं है और वे भी गाँव के नेता बन सकते हैं।)

2. Prosperous farmers from Punjab:

   • Assured a high family income through higher support prices for their crops.
   • Availability of hardworking and cheap laborers.
   • They want their children to settle abroad.

Different Development Goals

1. Different people have different ideas of development or progress.

2. Each person wants what is most important to them and what can fulfill their needs or dreams.
   (Hindi: हर व्यक्ति वही चाहता है जो उसके लिए सबसे महत्वपूर्ण हो और उसकी इच्छाओं को पूरा कर सके।)

3. Sometimes, people’s desires or needs can conflict with each other.
   (Hindi: कभी-कभी, लोगों की इच्छाएँ या ज़रूरतें एक-दूसरे से टकरा सकती हैं।)

4. For example, a girl might want as much freedom as her brother and want him to help in household chores, but her brother may not agree with this.
